Introduction and advantages of diffuse glass in modern agricultural greenhouses
Introduction to diffuse Glass
Diffuse glass is the use of special flower design and anti-reflection technology on the glass surface to maximize the conversion of sunlight into scattered light into the greenhouse, improve the photosynthesis of crops, and increase the yield of crops.
Greenhouses using diffuse glass can increase the yield by about 20% (tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, strawberries) than the transparent float glass; and Guo Shizhong's vitamin C, vitamin E/soluble sugar content is greatly increased.
Advantages of diffuse glass
Compared with ordinary float glass, diffuse glass has the following advantages:
High light transmission: The light transmission and anti-reflection technology increases the visible light transmittance of the glass from 91.7% to 97.5%. Compared with the glass without anti-reflection treatment, 15% more sunlight can enter the greenhouse throughout the day.
High scattering: The sunlight penetrates the glass and changes from direct light to scattered light, which can reduce the intensity of sunlight and reduce the light effect of plants; make the greenhouse without shadows and reduce burns to plants.
No dripping: The glass surface after anti-reflection treatment is hydrophilic and will not form mist droplets, which will affect the projection of light and the evaporation of water vapor.
Long life: The anti-reflection layer on the surface of the scattering glass by etching is the glass body, and the anti-reflection layer is firm. (It has been used in greenhouses in the Netherlands for nearly 20 years)
