1.Natural ventilation

Glass greenhouses rely on natural ventilation most of the time to regulate the indoor environment. The structure of a large production glass multi-span greenhouse is usually a double-slope multi-span greenhouse with ventilation windows on the side walls and roof. The total ventilation area should not be less than 15% of the greenhouse floor area. When more than 30 ridge windows are opened, the window sash can be tilted upward greater than the horizontal plane. When fully opened and forming an angle of 100 degrees with the horizontal plane, good ventilation effects can be obtained. The ventilation capacity of natural ventilation is related to wind speed, wind direction, ventilation window position, ventilation window area and temperature difference between inside and outside the greenhouse.

2.Forced ventilation

Although most of the span of the glass greenhouse is adjusted to rely on the natural ventilation environment, in summer when the temperature is higher and the outdoor temperature is higher, especially in high-temperature weather above 33°C, when natural ventilation alone cannot meet the cooling needs of the greenhouse, forced ventilation is required. And together with other cooling measures are commonly used means in production. Greenhouses use forced ventilation fans or other electrical energy to convert mechanical energy into wind, forcing air flow to ventilate and cool solution greenhouses.
