A piece of glass determines 30% of the greenhouse's production capacity
Glass greenhouses are the highest-specification greenhouse type in the current greenhouse industry. In addition to the frame profile, glass is also one of the important profiles of greenhouse materials. A good piece of glass can not only improve the light transmittance of the greenhouse, but also greatly improve the greenhouse's production capacity.
What type of glass is effective for greenhouse production capacity?
1. Scattering glass.
Inside the greenhouse, the hardest hit area without light is the side wall of the greenhouse. During the planting process, it can be clearly observed that the state of crops growing near the side wall is worse than that in the middle. Scattering glass can solve this problem. Scattering glass can disperse the incoming light and evenly illuminate every corner of the greenhouse.
Especially in soilless cultivation greenhouses, the top of the crop is lush and will block the light of the crop roots. Scattering glass can project light to the roots of the plants to prevent the growth of gray mold due to long-term lack of light.
2. High light transmittance glass
The light transmittance of an ordinary glass is 88%-90%, and the light transmittance of the coated glass is 95%-97.5%. We often say that one sunshine one harvest, under the premise of saturation of plant photosynthesis, the higher the light, the more obvious the effect of increasing plant yield. The greenhouse with 88% light transmittance and the greenhouse with 97.5% light transmittance have a difference of about 36% in total production capacity.
3. Suitable haze glass
Haze is an important parameter of greenhouse glass, and different hazes are suitable for different planting areas. A piece of glass with a haze of 30 has a transmittance of 97.5% and a Hortiscatter value of 16% (±5), which corresponds to a hemispherical transmittance of 91.5%. The transmittance at different times is 0°- 98.9%, 15°- 99.0%, 30°- 98.8%, 40°- 98.5%, 45°- 98.2%, 50°- 97.5%, 60°- 93.0%, 75°- 63.1%.
Scattering glass is ultra-white tempered glass with a transmittance of 91.5%. Coated scattering glass is called anti-reflection glass with a transmittance of 97.5%.
So have any customers ever done similar experiments? In fact, as early as in the experiment [The impact of different covering materials on cucumber quality in low-carbon Internet of Things greenhouses], the results showed that:
The greenhouse cucumber yield using anti-reflection high-scattering glass as covering material is 10.67% higher than that of ordinary float glass when the harvest period is not extended, and 36.43% higher when the harvest period is extended; and the content of soluble sugar and ascorbic acid is 3.6% and 67.62% higher than that of ordinary float glass, respectively. It can be seen that anti-reflection high-scattering glass has a significant promoting effect on the yield and quality of cucumber crops and is a better greenhouse covering material.
All test results show that anti-reflection scattering glass has a significant effect on increasing the yield of greenhouse planting and is currently the most ideal covering material.
The diffuse glass and AR-coated diffuse glass produced by Yuhua have cooperated with many large commercial greenhouses in agriculture, horticulture, nurseries and experiments. We have cooperated with large greenhouse project companies such as Havecon, Van Der Hoeven, Kubo, etc. for many years. Yuhua greenhouse glass has a light transmittance of up to 99%, and haze 5/10/20/30/50/70/75 greenhouse diffuse glass is available!
