Analysis of greenhouse glass coating process
1. Coating process type
Magnetic control vacuum sputtering coating
Advantages: Advanced technology, uniform coating layer and strong adhesion, low reflectivity, and transmittance up to 97.5%. Suitable for high-precision optical scenes (such as museums, electronic instruments).
Disadvantages: High production cost, precision equipment support is required, and large-scale application is limited.
Etching coating process
Advantages: The surface concave-convex structure is formed by chemical corrosion, which significantly improves the transmittance (such as 97.5% transmittance of greenhouse-specific anti-reflective glass), suitable for agricultural greenhouses and photovoltaic fields.
Disadvantages: Weak resistance to environmental erosion, long-term exposure to high temperature and humid environment may cause the performance of the film layer to deteriorate.
Roller coating/pulling coating process
Advantages: Low cost, simple process, similar to film sticking operation, and obvious short-term transmittance improvement effect.
Disadvantages: The film layer is easily damaged by the external environment (such as sunlight and rain), there is a risk of falling off, and the transmittance decreases significantly after long-term use.
2. Key considerations for greenhouse scenes
Transmittance and energy saving: The etching process has the highest transmittance (97.5%), which can significantly improve the photosynthetic efficiency of plants, but regular maintenance is required to prevent the film layer from aging.
Durability and cost: Magnetron sputtering coating has a long life, but the initial investment is large; although the roll coating process is economical, it needs to be replaced frequently, and the overall cost may be higher.
Environmental adaptability: The greenhouse environment is high temperature and humidity, and magnetron sputtering or etching processes with strong corrosion resistance are preferred to avoid the problem of falling off in the roll coating process.
Note: The actual choice needs to be comprehensively evaluated in combination with the scale of the greenhouse, budget and maintenance capabilities.
The diffuse glass and AR-coated diffuse glass produced by Yuhua have cooperated with many large commercial greenhouses in agriculture, horticulture, nurseries and experiments. We have cooperated with large greenhouse project companies such as Havecon, Van Der Hoeven, Kubo, etc. for many years. Yuhua greenhouse glass has a light transmittance of up to 99%, and haze 5/10/20/30/50/70/75 greenhouse diffuse glass is available!
